She looks like...

This picture was probably taken when I was in first grade. My mother swears that this haircut was done in a salon and not by me.

How could that be?????

I don't know what's more pathetic: the haircut or the possibility that what my mother says is true!

At long last, this picture may have found a place in the world. It may actually have some value. (Well, I guess it's always had comedic value to me.) The author of the very amusing and creative He looks like... blog is looking for pictures of subjects who will give permission for their use. I can think of so many things that one might infer from this tragic photo. Cruel things. Given that, it should suit her purposes quite well. I'm glad to think this shot may finally find a happy home.

Yep.

This picture deserves a cruel story. Probably one about any of a number of people who could be blamed for the fact that it exists:
...the self absorbed mother who was too busy admiring herself in the stylist's mirror to notice the bad haircut, not that she ever really loioks at her daughter anyway.
...the evil big sister who cut it while her baby sister, clearly their mom and dad's favorite, was asleep. The girls' parents were vacationing in Mexica at the time and and they were staying with their grandmother, the one with the bad cataracts.
... the deeply resentful, self-hating hair stylist whose mother always made her wear boyish clothes and gave her ugly masculine haircuts...

You get the picture. It's all fiction and it's all in good fun. And I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
